Your Chamber staff was invited to visit the Good Samaritan Veterans Outreach & Transition Center, located on St. Philips College campus. Since its grand opening on August 9, 2017, the center has served more than 6,700 veterans from their interim facility and new facility combined, through programs that include Education and Financial planning, career planning and job coaching, emergency housing services and much more. The Center provides services to all active duty, retired military, veterans, and their families in the greater San Antonio area at no cost. There are also several partners and support groups located in the center.
